“When you take complete responsibility for your life, and hold yourself accountable for your actions, thoughts and attitudes, something magical happens. You began to realize, genuinely, the power that you have to change many things. You don’t have the power over others but over yourself you do. That is not to say that others can’t cause troubles in our lives, but only as much as we allow them. Someone did you wrong? Your parents, your friends, your country, your government, fate? So be it. Face them. Those are out of our control, but how we decide to respond and what we do with what has been done to us is the ultimate freedom from circumstance. When we constantly blame others for our lives we take the power out of our own hands and put it into theirs. Think about that. Don’t give your power away by blaming. Regain it by embracing your hardships and solving them.”
