Philosophical Differentiation

“Paying your bills and living a meaningful life are two completely different things.”

A Mental Mosaic

“Without the arts, life appears boring, drab, dry and meaningless. Without the science’s life would appear senseless and random. Therefore, they are both equally important, for they endow the world and its inhabitants with the tools to cultivate, nourish, explore and advance.

Working in unison together, they both support the well-being of humanity. Let us not get caught up in absolutist all-or-nothing thinking. There are many unique pieces that constitute the mosaic of life. Much like that of human knowledge, understanding and experiences.

We would be wise to expand our knowledge base, including all the creations and permutations that have been manifested by humanity.”

WE GET TO KEEP THE LIMITATIONS THAT WE ARGUE FOR. -LES BROWN

WE GET TO KEEP THE LIMITATIONS THAT WE ARGUE FOR. -LES BROWN

What does this quote mean to you? To me it means that when we constantly reinforce our limitations we not only make them stronger but we began to believe them at a deep level. We unconsciously make them apart of our attitude and thought process. This greatly affects our creative potential. What you think about all day long in your heart, mind and soul you become.

Why is it that people will come up with multiple reasons why something CAN’T be done, but when you ask them to come up with one GOOD reason why it CAN be done they are at a loss for words. And even when we have brilliant ideas that could revolutionize our lives and others we are shot down, first by others, and then eventually by ourselves. I believe it is because we live in a negative world. We are trained to focus on the negative. Look at the news for goodness-sake.

The world itself isn’t negative but the people who inhabit it tend to be. Maybe this is just a residual mindset from the past times of antiquity when life was much harder. It could have been a way to help us survive. Things have changed though.

GET WITH THE TIMES!

Newsflash, we no longer live in the wild. We live in a modern world where many un-imaginable things are possible, if only we can decide what we want, clearly define actionable steps and make measurable progress.

“We Can’t do Everything, but we Can do Anything”

SO DECIDE!

STOP STOPPING AND KEEP GOING!
